My Monster called Potato writing

WALT-Describe a character
Over the past few weeks we have been creating a monster and writing all about it we wrote on each different body part on one body part we had to put a youtube video in it we had to use some adjectives.

What was hard? It was hard to get the dots that we had not used away.

it was easy to write the monster because i knew what to write.

i liked my monster because i liked were the hand was and were the foot was.

the movie at the pool

WALT - to make a movie 
last term my class went down to the Aquatic Centre to go in the pool and film a 3 minute movie we got to swim and go in the deep part of the cold pool and go on the hydro slides.

what was hard it was kinda hard to push the button on the go pro and go down the hydro slide at the same time

pick a path

over the past few weeks of the term we have been doing pick a paths we had to get into groups of three then we had to make a poster and plan around and pick what theme we were going to do we chose horror once we planed some stuff we made a slide and we had to pick a fairy tale we did little red riding hood we had to write a horror little red riding hood once we wrote a bit we had to link stuff then we did back rounds then when we push the links it takes us to the slide.

my favourite thing was the linking because i have never linked before and i was just proud of it.

it was hard to work together because everybody kept deleting other peoples writing and writing  what they want to write.

Next time i would put some more slides into it because we did not have that much slides in it.

how to do division

for the last few weeks we have been doing division we have been skip counting and doing the cup method to help us work it out and help us if we need it.
i think that division is a lot easier now that i know different ways to do it

week 3 reflection on goal

My goal is to get over 6 activities in my chapter chat reading.

so far i have not reached my goal.

To reach my goal i need to work harder.

Next week i will work harder i will do all my must does first.

my goal is to complete over 6 activities on

I will do my goal by working hard and doing the right thing at the right time.

matariki bingo

WALT-under stand matariki though a range of tasks.

i liked that we had easy fun tasks to do.
i found easy was writing it all.
the hard part was to get most of the tasks finished.

jump jam

This week on Wednesday we had the jump jam person called Bret

I liked doing jump jam because it was fun and he was good at it
I found it hard doing some of the jump jam moves to the songs
I found it easy copying him.

Mintie challenge

WALT- to use a ruler to measure to the millimeter

i liked the mintie challenge because it was fun trying to make your wrapper the longest.

it was a bit hard to try not to rip the wrapper and you cant use anything to stick it back together.

it was easy to rip the wrapper but you had to be careful.

next time i would try to rip a bit smaller so it would be longer.

I enjoyed this activity because it was fun and cool to do. To make my work better I need to put more exciting words in to it.
