calendar art

This term we have been doing some calendar art. 

The type of art that we were doing was aboriginal art.

Aboriginal art is were you do dots .

We got to pick an animal outline to trace onto the piece of paper.

I picked an elephant.

book character

This week it is book character day.

we had to decorate a door. 

We did it with T3 because our classes are connected.

For our door we did peter pan.

I helped cut out stars put string through them and glue some buildings.

penguins

A couple days ago I had to answer some questions about penguins and there islands.

We had to read a bit about them and look at the pages to find the facts.

I had to make a google drawing and make a couple square text boxes to write in.

Here's mine. 

 This term we have been doing art.

Its based off kiwiana. 

We got a A3 piece of paper.

Miss Hines made six squares on the piece of paper and put vivid over them

I chose to do a kiwi in my six squares 

We had to do different colours for each square and we had to do the same pattern in the squares.

chapter 4 Boy In The Striped Pyjamas

 This week we did chapter 4 of The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas.

We had to follow along the words when Miss Hines was reading.

After about 1 chapter Miss Hines sent us a google drawing with a few questions.

We all got a book each and followed along when Miss Hines was reading.

The Fantail!

For reading I had to read a journal. It was called The Fantail.

When we finished reading it Miss Hines sent us a google drawing with some questions for us to answer.

This week for reading I read Six Photos which was an article about how photos were taken in the old days.

For reading this week i had to read becoming a martian.

Once i read that miss Hines sent me a goggle drawing to complete.

 On Wednesday afternoon me and some other kids went with Tinaka.

We read about dinosaurs.

This week for maths i had to do a slide.

It had some maths questions on it that i had to complete.

Design a book cover

This term we have started to do a novel study.

One of the tasks that i picked was to design a new book cover for my book.

Kensukes Kingdom chapter 1

This term we have been reading a chapter book called Kensukes Kingdom.

We read 1 chapter then we get send a doc to fill it out.

Here are my answers to chapter one.

At the start of the term we had to create avatars.

Our avatars had to look a bit like us.

Miss Hines printed our avatars out with a grid on them.

When we had our avatars we had to enlarge them.

We got a grid on a big piece of paper and drew them. 

Then we used vivid and traced on the lines

Once we did that we rubbed the grid out and painted them. 

Next we went over them with vivid 

Then Miss Hines glued them onto a black piece of paper
